With a mean age of 32.4 years old, the average State of React respondent turned out to be slightly younger than the State of JS (33.5) orState of CSS (34.9).

Gaji Tahunan

Survey respondents had a slightly higher median salary ($75,000) compared to State of JavaScript results ($70,000). Yet the same income disparities held through when looking at the U.S. vs the rest of the world.

Posisi dalam pekerjaan

“Engineer” continues to be the most lucrative job title, while “Developer” remains at the bottom of the ladder.

And just like in the most recent State of JavaScript survey results, fullstack and frontend positions were staffed by the youngest respondents on average, and frontend job titles were also correlated with a significantly higher proportion of women.

It's encouraging to see the proportion of Hispanic and Latin respondents climb from 11% to 19%, potentially coinciding with the rise in popularity of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking streamers and educators.
